My High school friend Mark , opened a Pawn Shop last summer , I went there the other day do get some gold tested . A 20 year old kid came in with a box of mediocre stuff to sell . Mark bought everything ,but he did not want this light fixture - so I offered the kid $2 , he said sure . I looked at Mark & said ''do you mind ? '' He said go for it !
I brought it home - cleaned the spider webs off - added the green party bulb - put it on ebay - within an hour it got my opening bid of $8 and there are lots of watchers .

We had those on the ship I was on in the Navy, but i think they had red bulbs so you can see in the dark.

You are correct...
Only IF this one is not Alum...it is more for docks and industrial uses.
Navy used Aluminum and bronze mostly.

P.s > Tis NOT "explosion proof" heh.
The cage is just to protect bulb.
