I've been lurking on the site for some time now and decided to make a profile. Started hunting back in August of 2012. A buddy of mine, who doesn't have time anymore, got me into it. I get a bag of halfs a week. Had been going well but the past two months I got 2 killer bags. I keep a pretty detailed book log of everything i find. Here's my results since last August, by weeks

4 - 40%

10 - 40%, 2-90%

25-40%, 4-90% (1 walker)

1-Franklin

1-40%

5- skunks on 5 weeks

2-40%

10-40%, 5-90% (2 were franklins)

58-40%, 5-90% (2 walkers,2 franklins), a magicians coin

4-skunks on 4 weeks

1-40%, 2-90%

3-90% (1 was a walker)

3- skunks on 3 weeks

5-40%, 1-90%

2- skunks on two weeks

93-40%, 14-90% ( 6 were franklins, 1 walker), an 1854 us large cent

Magicians coin

1-40%

9-40%, 1-90%

Skunk

191-40% (yes, that's not a typo, 191), no 90%.

It's been a very good couple months. Those couple of bags towards the end bring my average way up.

Welcome to the addiction. I'll ask since everyone wants to know but hasn't asked yet, what part of the US are you in? You don't have to be specific. Awsome finds in some of those bags BTW. HH, Maverick.

Yeah. I don't get boxes like most of you. I get bags of $1000. Pretty sure about 80% of my finds have come out of 3 bags. The fact that that one had that many 40% and no 90% makes me think somebody knew about 90% but not 40%. There was actually a dated marked dump coin from the previous month too. So it seemed to be all one collection
