I believe this to be slate...It was found lakeside.It shows reduction signs.....but I'm not sure it was ever finished...but both ends are pretty beat up...hmm... if

My 1st thought was a hoe with damage. Some of them found here that I have seen look just like that. Not all of them were pretty just something to dig with.
