Congrats. My hands were shacking just watching. I mean how did they get there?, who were the last to hold them?, why were they together like that? Was it a stolen payroll or did someone bury them thinking, "I'll be back later to get them?" The questions are endless. That's just amazing to me.

Wow

How do they know that there is an actual treasure to be found without prior knowledge?

Too many people for this event...Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm not belittling the find, but question the presentation as being staged. :icon_scratch:

It was a club hunt/rally I think Stefen!

Looked real to me! How could you stage that :icon_scratch:

If it was, most likely by a detector manufacturer...

The latest "fantastic finds" were becoming back page news, so they need to push more machines.

If not, you can bet you will see THIS one pimped by the detector maker like the Whites' one was exploited last year.

Make everyone think that they will get rich with no work by buying YOUR DETECTOR..
Milk that sucker for all it's worth.

When something appears to be too good to be true...guess what...its not.

This will have to go through the Treasure inquest process all will become clear then. It would be stupid staging something that if you don't hand in you go to jail for.

Its real for sure. What I hate is all the club members crowding around, it would do my head in.

I think that the find is real and was probably turned in to the local Constabulary....that's not the issue.

I also think that the find was made, and was immediately reburied, and everyone went into a huddle...trying to make up a story to garner the maximum publicity...

Then it was determined to make the horde discovery event public and so a video was made as if the horde was actually found on-camera...

That's my personal smell test...and there's definitely a lingering odor... ::)

And then, I could be totally out-to-lunch and need to make public amends...
