Yeah, I suspect it's because they think it's fake, stolen or some kind of scam.

The fact that it's a Canadian Maple Leaf (.9999 pure gold) would also be especially scary for folks in the US, as they typically believe the currency of any other country is worthless.

I think alot of people are afraid of it being a scam. It would be better if he asked people "Do you know how much one ounce of gold is worth?"

I'm also curious if he ran into anyone that did in fact know how much it was worth and they were just cut out of the video in the end.

However I Would also Think,
He will tell me the truth & Give me my

So Yes I Would have taken him up on the Deal
