Got out for day three of the marathon hunt. I scored three military buttons including a French Marines, and two unidentified. One not pictured due to being too far gone. It is a small silver plated dome button with a crown over "NDY". I'll research that one.

The find of the day for me is the Cornish Penny from 1811...it is in very good condition.

I'm interested to know what you find out about the button. Are you done cleaning it, or is it still a work in progress? The gilding looks handsome under there.

Great 1811 Cornish too.

Well done. 8)

Nice, the button reminds me of the 'spade' guinea's of the late Georgian period. Its must be late 1780s-1810.

Good thing it wasn't a guinea--there'd have been No way for Iron Patch to catch up! ;D
