If you don't bring it, you are going to wish you had - Murphy's Law.

I'd definitely bring it. That way you are covered. If you don't end up using it, oh well. But, if you get there, and the beach is perfect for detecting and you don't have it, you will feel sick.

You always take your detector with you when you go on vacation. Never know if there is agood place to detctor or not. If there is a beach you will always want ot detect it.....Matt

Of course bring it .Might pay for part of the trip.I recall a trip I
took to Virginia to see my family for Christmas. It was snowing
there so I didn't bring a detector. We stopped at a store to call
the family on the way in to town.My kids got out to play in the
plowed snow banks in the parking lot. My older son flung a
snow ball, and off came his new class ring.Boy did I wish i had
a detector.Dug through a few feet of snow and found it.
Moral of story:Always have a detector with you.Have a great
vacation.HH Joe

Don't ever leave home without at least one or three. I just came up north to Panama City Beach for the holidays to visit with two of the kids and bunches of family and three grandkids. It's bitter cold here compared to back home and I have not gotten to go out on the beach, which is right outside the door. Looking out the patio door I see a heavy surf and cold wind blowing down the beach. Bummer. But, if it ever warms up or stops blowing I will be out on the sand. Being hopeful I even brought one of my underwater units. How's that for optimism?
