From the land of the Bluenose.....

"I wonder."
"Wonder what?"
"Wonder where."
"Wonder where what?"
"Wonder where we will go today dear."

With that Marie packed a picnic fit for the Queen of Hearts while I grabbed the AT Pro and Freedom 3 Plus and shoved them all into the trunk for a ride to......
"Should we go to Ecum Secum or Harem Sacram?"
"Should we go to Shubinacadie or Cobequid Pass?"
"Let's just go...go to Wherever or Wonder land then."

The hum of Otto's winter tires on the wet pavement was rhythmical and soothings at the same time as Marie let me enjoy the sound of the road and not some cowboy tape about a guy's dog who died, wife left him or his truck broke down song!

So we were on a long lonely highway travelling all alone. Not quite as the local raccoons and porcupines were on the road suppling the crows with a smorgasbord of rack of raccoon and pressed porcupine! Not a good day for trying to get to the otherside!

So where were we? This heavy metal rocker pointed the way and that is the way we went!

Since we were in the area thought that Marie and I would drop into Fred and Wilma's but there was only one car in the driveway!

And of course someone forgot to feed "Woolite." Jezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Then I looked to the left and then to the right and there it was. A playing field just right for the picking. The sun and briefly snuck through the clouds and Marie quickly exited Otto and took a seat at a bench with Daniell STeel's "44 Charles Street." I quicked flipped Otto's trunk and looked at the At Pro and the Freedom 3 Plus. Do I play with the Pro's learning curve or fiddle with the finicky Freedom 3 Plus?

First matter of the day however was dealing with this steroid infested he man that I eyeballed hanging around the sideline. Made short work of the muscle bound jerk as I was 20 times his side and relegated him to the bottom of me rubbers which was no joy as they smelt worst than a bucket of gibs left in the sunlight for a week.

Slowly I turned her on, set the depth at max and both discrimination knobs at zero.............a belltone and I had just turned her on! For the next 2 hours and 15 minutes I swung and dug with just about 1/3 of the playing field completed before my arm and shoulder gave out and that was on my good side. Other arm and shoulder did the knuckle drag during the dig. I then slithered over to Marie and casually told her that I was finished. Much to my dismay she said dig some more so she could finish her chapter. Lord love a duck!

After that we picniced put not before a rabbit crossed the field into the wooded area. After our snack we motored on to nowhere coming across a land locked lighthouse. Only in Nova Scotia would you find a lighthouse without any water. Masstown but this bouy saw no church!

Only fitting that I got to dig and Marie got to shop while draining my last few loonies from my pocket for a cherry vanilla ice cream. Doesn't get any better.

Take for the day was a century (108) , a buckle and of course "Heman."

Leslie, your posts get more entertaining all the time. Someday, I hope to learn your language-LOL. Great finds (as usual) and I hope Marie didn't completely clean out your wallet in the shops. HH, Quindy in Tennessee.
