Went out to the Starr County Park for the 5th or 6th time. I've gone since I started MD 3 months ago. Today was a great day in my records in clad $1.42 in two hrs, the best I've done so far. I found the following :

3 Quarters
5 Dimes
17 Pennies
2 Mexican Coins (10 Cents)
1 Sea Shell
1 Key
1 Live Round of 357 Magnum

Luck was on my side!!!
Nicked the bullet with my shovel as I was digging it up, good thing it didn't go off.

Thanks For Stopping By...

duh...duh... DFX
I'm amazed at the number of unfired rounds I have dug up too.
Goes to show you a tender touch during retrieval is good for more than NOT nicking coins!

That 357 is a center fire so you'd have to hit it straight in the center for it to go off. Coincidentally I dug a 22 hollow point today but I didn't hit it at all with my digger...22's are rim fire. Nice finds.
