MD Gold in the Ca Motherlode

Using an At Pro, what target/setting should I use Just for gold prospecting; either for paystreaks or Nuggets.
Any tips would be appriciated

I would think you would want to hunt in all metal mode and check the Visual ID on targets. Probably going to get the best depth that way.

Also small gold will hit real low on the scale so dig everything over small iron.

Closest to AM on the AT is to just run wide open. You can run with iron audio on, which may help...haven't tried for gold, but I do that for relics, etc. I have tested my AT and it seems like #8 birdshot can be hit, but the ground my alter results. I did an air test and had a little emi interference-and only got 1.5 or so IF I remember correctly. It's been 'tuned up' since so maybe it's better (or worse) now...
