Meatless Spaghetti Sauce

Here's and easy-to-fix recipe for spaghetti sauce if you're going to be around the house for the day.

Servings: 12
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Start to finish: 10 hours

Notes: - Serve over any type of pasta.
- I double the recipe, put in quart jars, and process in a pressure cooker.

Serving Ideas: - Serve with any pasta.

3 Tablespoons Olive oil
1 Large Onion, Finely chopped
3 Cloves Garlic, Finely chopped
1 Medium Bell pepper, Finely chopped
1/4 Cup Italian seasonings
1/4 Cup Sugar
2 Quarts Tomatos, Pureed
1 Large Can Tomato Sauce
1 Large Can Tomato paste

1. Saute onions, garlic, pepper Italian seasonings and sugar in oil oil.

2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

3. Turn down heat and simmer 8-10 hours; stirring occasionally..

4. Serve over pasta.

VODKA SAUCE

1 Pint of cream or half and half
2 TBS Butter
Garlic

Saute Garlic in butter then add cream.

1 Jar spaghetti Sauce (Barillo Tomato and Basil is a good choice.)
Crushed Red Pepper
3/4 Cup Vodka (more....lots more if you're Plehbah)

Add this to the garlic and cream. Makes enough for 1 pound of spaghetti.
