Yeah, there probably are a lot of people that don't slab their wheats and other coins that aren't considered rare keepers...they probably just throw them in a jar or whatever...but I slab all mine no matter what. If I find a wheat penny in my change from the store I don't think of it the same as when I might dig the same date and quality penny from the dirt.
