I assume this is from a car or motorcycle maybe; not sure. There is some damage on the bottom from what I assume is a run in with a lawn mower. It was broken off of something else at the left edge of the wing with no other indication at attach points anywhere else. It's a pretty sturdy piece of metal about 1/8" thick.

It seems too big for a car radiator ornament. Maybe from a bird bath or feeder?

looks like an old harley davidson wing! dont know much about harley's. looks like it belongs on some kind of vehical

OK! NOT too big for a radiator cap... The cap pictured by surf is a Boyce Motometer. It was used on various makes in the 1920's and could be purchased as an aftermarket accessory. Very cool!
