Meteorite find

image.jpg Can anyone help me identify if this is a meteorite I found it in Manitoba in an old growth forest.
It tests positive for nickle ?

I vote meteor wrong. Looks more like some kind of slag. Needs to be analyzed.

I think so to but whats got me thinking it is ,is that I found it in a 300 year old forest where there used to be an island when Manitoba was covered by lake aggassis.THE LAND IT WAS ON IS PRACTIALLY VIRGIN LAND.AND IT TESTED POSITIVE FOR NICKEL CONTENT.THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY I WILL GET IT TESTED.

Too rough. Usually meteorites are smooth. Try the tile test on it.
