At first I was trying to figure out what type of rock this is. Many people told me it could be a meteorite. It is magnetic, heavy, and very hard.

bump? Finding a meteorite would be better than finding a gold ring, at least for me.

Doesn't seem to have the external characteristics of a meteorite. Only definitive test is xrd and it costs about $50. Let me know if you want to have it tested. Looks too smooth to me. I found a heavy iron item, heavily rusted, which is how a meteor should be, but it's probably a melt from a foundry.

Your rock appears to be a common greenstone. If, however, you believe you may have a meteorite, please have it evaluated by a QUALIFIED professional.

Time for more coffee.

I can tell you from my experience that is definitely not a meteorite. no fusion crust, no remaglypts, and it doesn't have rounded edges.
