Meteorite hit Texas below Dallas. Is anyone there yet?

A dozen or so pro hunters have found many dozen small stones. Probably over 5 kilos worth.

I didn't go in person. But I did purchase some fragments from Michael Cottingham who found them in the field in West. Here is a photo of the fragments and the West newspaper he sent me.

It's not visible in the photo because the piece is upside down, but the largest fragment has very fresh black fusion crust on one side - very small, but some of the freshest crust I have ever seen first hand. It's almost powdery, like coal dust. :)
