I have this posted on the Fossil page, so I know this is a bit weird. But, someone on another site asked about it maybe being a meteorite and asked if it was magnetic. Of course I didn't test it because thought it was bone/rock. Well, it does make the compass move, so I guess my question is.... can a fossil do that? I posted that we found it in Prescott, but it was actually Flagstaff AZ. So sorry if this is a dumb question but....? DSCN2409.JPG DSCN2410.JPG DSCN2384.JPG

Wanted to add to this....I found a site called "mama's minerals" and they have a story called "The Mystery of the magnetic Dinosaur Bones", interesting, guess I answered my own question lol  Not to say that mine is a Dino bone, but could happen I guess.

Why not a dinosaur? Sure. Not a meteorite, though. TTC

There are many mammal bone out there laid down in the last 60 million years like the saber-toothed cats, giant ground sloths, woolly rhino, mastodons, and mammoths.

Yeah, I wonder how we would do against those Dino's? "Don't play with your food... just eat him!" TTC
