Meteorites?

My brother and I began finding these rocks in a field and we think they could be meteorites because they are magnetic and heavier than an average rock. What do you think? I know just by looking at a picture you cant tell much but maybe you know of somewhere we can send one to get it checked out.

Meteorites look similar to the stones you found. But so does lodestone (magnetite) and smelter dross.

It helps, too, if you found them in a known "strewn field". That's where meteorites have been found in the past.
