Evening All, Been a while from the the other end of the world. Shhhh this summer is a total belter and even hotter. When running your coil over the ground all the tall dried out weeds just fall over.Coil Mowing, :laughing7::laughing7::laughing7: Last week in hunted a lane or a public way . Made for direct access to an old site where the local Unity Methodist Church once stood. The wooden church was built in the early 1860's and removed in the 1950's. The lane or public way is narrow but still has an open water drain lined with large blue stone pitcher blocks from the 1880's. Still today no modern path or bollards to prevent cars from using it as a short cut. Just a single redgum post at either end. Much as much of modern rubbish . Not a single coin but at the church end i got this wonderfull old Albert Chain Fob Medal. Awarded for Piano . English sterling silver [hallmarks] Lion_ Export_ L Dates from 1912. Weighs 17.9 grams and quite large .Heres a pic of the church taken 1914 and a few dig pics.
