Got an e-mail today at work from a local antique shop that one of the vendors in his antique shop just brought in a few new albums of coins. Decided I had better get over there at lunch. I am glad I did. Picked up some Mexican silver at a very nice price.
1968 25 peso Olympic coin 72% silver $13.50 ASW .5208
1977 100 peso 72% silver $19.00 ASW .642
And the best one was 1960 10 peso 90% silver $11.00 ASW .8357
Around 2 ounces of silver for 43 bucks. I would do that all day every day. HH Doug

Congratulations! I scored a 1930 Panamanian medio Balboa this Saturday myself. It's the same size and weight as our pre '64 halves and is the same silver content. It was actually minted here in the States. I gave $3 for it but it's melt value is the same as our halves. I have several silver foriegn coins. I'll take them all day long as well.

Nice pick up! :icon_thumright: I really like Mexican silver coins - hence my moniker.

Just make sure these coins entered the country legally or you could run the risk of upsetting a few of our members here lol.
