I just got my Minelab Equinox 600 yesterday so I decided to make a video of me testing it since there are not too many videos out yet. The link is:

I'm thinking you're so excited you neglected to do full, even sweeps across the target... BTW, does that need to be ground balanced?

I was just doing a quick test just going through some of the settings, I only had a few minutes to test it but I think it does need to be Ground balanced with my soil.

most of the sweeps were not even because I was seeing if I liked the length I set it on. It was also one of my first times filming and detecting at the same time so i was looking at the screen and forgot to do full swings LOL!

In watching the first buried dime on the video, you looked so excited, I just thought you might have better luck picking the dime up :-) You had a case of ETSS (Equinox Tourette's Swinging Syndrome).

LOL, I was definitely super excited to finally get it after months of waiting.

Nice to see it being used on a pounded site. Have an 800 coming, so I'm trying to see every vid that comes out.
