Has anyone had good success with the Hip Mount made for MineLabs Exployer? The weight of this machine is getting to me at only 110 lbs. and with neck problems. Yike! It looks like it would be a pain to press the buttons when the right hand is holding the unit and your left hand has a shovel in it. Need input. thanks guys! :)

I dont think the Explorers can be hipmounted because of their design. I did a search at the Minelab site and found no hipmount accessories available for Explorers. You might want to try a Sovereign if the weight gets to be too much, which can be hipmounted. Good luck.

i have seen the hip mounts for them, costs about $125 KellyCo has them also. They are made for Exployers but not made by Minelab.

takes weight off wrist and arm - transfers to back and shoulder muscles. You won't like if you have a bad back or shoulder. Otherwise works fairly well!
