Here is a couple keepers from this week....The metal mini whiskey bottle was found in a 1912 R.R. Logging camp. The label is enamel, I believe, which preserved this colorful image of a man looking like a bell hop and the whiskey maker "Sunny Brook"...The bottle was actually a cap for the real bottle, but the "cap" bottle also doubled as a pencil (seen in the photo of reproduction cap)...the pencil is still in the one I found.
The other find is a slot token from the 30's found In a local park "Good for 2 packs of cigarettes" on both sides...

That's a different token, at one time a pack of smokes ran with the price of a gallon of reg. gas. Around here that token would be worth around $23-24 for two packs at today's prices.

Thanks guys! I have dug a lot of neat stuff in the logging camp, but that little bottle really got my wheels turning. It was a solid high tone and in the shape of a small bottle...the label had so much color and the first word I read was "whiskey"!
Fun to get a mystery item to take home and ID.

Super cool token. Sometimes a little history can be the best find.

Two very cool and unique finds.
The token is great and the bottle really cleaned up nice.

I would go back and hit that site hard.
