I decided to take a half day off since I had no boxes coming in and hit the road.....although I didn't plan this trip out too well...lol.
I left the office at noon (Friday...wahoooo).....dropped the top of my convertible, put my hair in a pony tail....and just took off. My plan was to go to some small town banks (one/two bank towns) about an hour away. Well, these small town banks close at 2:00....didn't think of that.....ha! I had called these banks a month or so ago so, collectively, I knew they had quite a bit of rolls. This one bank was so old looking....I was looking for the post out front to tie up the horse/buggy....lol. Can't wait to get back there!!
My next road trip will have more thought into it instead of flying by the seat of my pants, but as always, it was fun.
I was able to get to a few banks and found one full roll of silver.....boy, I just love when that happens!
