Binghamite seems a possibility but having never seen the mineral I cant say for sure. There are chalcedony, jasper and massive quartz present as well. Quite a mix. As to silkstone, again I'm not familiar with it but looking it up its a derivative of Binghamite. Handsome piece.

Awesome! I got one right for once lol! I have never seen binghamite or silkstone either. I've had this rock forever and happened to stumble across a pic of binghamite while attempting to identify another rock. I have seen jasper though and I thought that's what the red part was and I see the hematite also. U guys are awesome, thank you!
