Iā€™m new here so be easy lol. Iā€™ve posted this quarter on other chat boards and most say itā€™s PMD but I feel unless itā€™s in hand excepting the answer is a little difficult. I figured Iā€™d try here because during my Google search for something like it a pic of someone elseā€™s quarter which is almost identical to my damage except the other opā€™s was larger. The responses to his post was his quarter was mint damage. Iā€™d like to see what this group of people think this is. Iā€™m still going to have it looked at first hand by someone because as we all know pictures of coins arenā€™t the best for trying to figure out what is and isnā€™t mint damage. It would be nice just to have a little more information if someoneā€™s dealt with this before. Mint or post mint damage?

So hard to tell from a picture. Is there any raised edge around the depression? What does the reverse look like?

From what I can see, it looks like there is a lip or rim on the edge of that groove. If so, I say it's PMD.
