Found over 100 ft from a stream off the James River In Eastern South Dakota (near Huron). Few pieces on top are difficult to show their qualities via photo; more to them than they appear. A bead in the center. Grinding stone. Etc.

Yes, but no full points and the pottery is in rough shape. Fragments and they are weathered pretty bad (seems like more than just normal dirt ware and tear)

i like the bead. Not sure the rest are much of anything though.

By Stoney Run Lake? No, I'm not even aware that was there, honestly. Is it a hot spot? I'm definitely going to check it out now.

Lol, yeah it's pretty close to you.
Unfortunately I wasn't into artifacts when I lived there, but I would imagine any creek that fed the lake would be good too. Not sure the access to the lake either, it was undeveloped back in the early 70's. When I was there you could drive right up to part of it.
