I got a photo of the backside of a magpie on a branch who stretched out it's wings, but I failed to capture it at that perfect moment. I know a place close to home where many of them hangout. I need to take sometime and try getting a good shot of the back of a magpie with its wings fully stretched. They really have some wonderful patterns you rarely witness.
