Have not had much of a chance to treasure hunt because I have been busy. The little bit of time I have had, has been a bust of looking for a new place to go. Either no one is home to ask or I get kindly told "No". So this evening I did get permission to hunt two different houses built mid to late 1800's. I had just a little bit of time to look around, the first place, first signal was the flattened bullet. I believe it to be Civil War era, the owners told me that part of the house dates back to 1840. That is where I found the Ford hub cap too. They were having fall pictures taken, so I didn't stay long. I can't wait to get back there. The other place I stopped is an old home that dates around 1870 and found some clad and 4 Wheats oldest was 1937. The silver ring I found a few days ago, at an old home that I have yet to find anything old. Enjoying this weather and the daylight while it is here. HH

I don't know where you are located but I hope you can still go back to that place. Your bullet is a confederate Gardner. It is flattened because (my guess) it was used as a checkers piece. I have found many bullets like this in camp and home places. There show be more. Great find.

I am in an area with heavy Civil War movements. I did get permission to come back and look for more goodies. I can't wait. :icon_thumright:
