Very cool Mike.

I couldn't find anything, not even News reports of
their trip.

I wonder if it's just something they felt like doing.

I was aside of the road and shouted Where's your next stop ? Problem is i did'nt
hear his reply :( As they passed me i pulled up along side of them as they were trotting
along and he handed me a paper I guess he expects me to send him some pic's :D

I'll bet your pics get to his home before he does. . . I'm sure he'll appreciate these images.
It's nice you had the opportunity to document part of his journey.

Great post, glad you were going by to get those photos, gee, maybe you can get permission to detect their farm, since that entire area is nothing but farmland. :)
I grew up north of there in Berks County, spent a lot of time in just above Morgantown area. Beautiful countryside, sort of being overdeveloped nowadays though. :(

a number of years ago , when i lived in Vermont during the vermont centenial they had a wagon train that rode one end of the state to the opposite end they did stay at my place (in the field) the first night everyone rode on horseback or wagon it was interesting to see them cross the covered bridges
it was approx 500+ riders and wagons

You're reading my mind Don ;) I'm thinking if i hand deliver the pic's and take the m/detecter
with !! I'm picturing an old picture perfect farmhouse and a nice large lawn. It might just be a
great place to search a little Above Morgantown is beautiful countryside Unfortunately the
farms and fields are disappearing fast in all of Berks Co. due to developement >:( HH
