1918 bufflow.it was very drity here is my first to be posted
of a few more
ps hard to read date and dug down 3/4

Nice buffalo, they are hard to clean, can I make a suggestion, if you wash them at home, wash them in hard water. Your soft water has salt in it and will turn a coin to crap in a heart beat. Silver is ok to wash in soft water, it's just coins with copper in them that are hard to clean.

Nice Buffalo....Most nickles don't do too well in the ground. ...especially Buffalos and V nickles. Finding a good date is rare. Even those nickles that were never lost have a raised date and are worn away...Congrats on your find

sorry about getting back late you asked what a bufflow head would sound like
a good beep like silver would sound like at least what it sounds like on my whites idx
