hideous! It looks like a medusa, melt it down before it's too late! LOL. Congrats on the good find, but don't take the "retail" price for much. It's worth it's gold content.

Thanks. It was at the beach in about shin deep water.

WHOA... I just had a deep throated chuckle... Do tell! Story! Tell the story!

And where is it that you're hunting (type of place, not exact location) that you're finding these monster rings? WOW! just WOW!

It was at the beach in approximately shin deep water. It's 15 grams of 14k. It rang up like a penny and most of the time I don't dig them penny tones unless it's a strange number I never dig the normal 12:36 penny and now I'm wondering what I've been missing skipping those 12:36 penny tones with the CTX. I've found a few mens 18k that rang in at 12:29. Glad I dug this penny tone.

Yes sir I sure did just a few blocks apart. One of the better days I've had detecting. I thought they were so special they needed separate post.

Nice ring! My 10K and diamonds had me giddy for a month(ok, I'm still giddy), but it's still the only gold and diamond I have found.

In the summer I visit a place called Penny Beach with my Excalibur. I dig lots of pennies, especially after a buddy of mine got an 18kt ring on a penny signal.
Congrats on an ugly but beautiful find.
