Here are a few pics from my stay in Texas. I was amazed just how flat it is. I enjoyed my stay but I found the humidity effected me badly. However still an experience.
I went to see the Monster trucks on my birthday, that was fun, loved that.

Hope you like pics friends.

Molly. :)

Sounds like you had fun Molly.

I especially love the last Monster Truck pic; it's Dennis Anderson's "GRAVE DIGGER", down from N Carolina! My favorite.

Yes it was amazing, I have a pic of Grave digger too somewhere. Also trucks that had crashed onto there sides, that was fun.. The Relient staduim is something else.

Thanks guys.

I doubt they would have let me start digging up the beautiful grounds there. If you could MD there, there would be lots of ppl. So no I didn't even attempt it. Like i said they wouldn't even let me take pics inside the monument. :(

Molly, did you happen to get down to Galveston and do a little horse back riding on the beach?

I spent a little time down that way back about 15 years ago volunteering with the Red Cross after a hurricane/flood. We were north of Houston in a small town called New Caney. There were spots in Humble (silent H) where the water was 12 feet high. Terrible. I hate floods.

Anyway we had one day off in about 2 weeks and a couple of us headed for Galveston. Nice place. Houston is where I was introduced to crawfish. Ummmmm Ummmm... good.
