Montana fossils

Hey guys I am looking to get into fossil hunting and I was wondering if anyone had connections or new of good areas in Montana.

Best thing to do is grab the "Rockhounding Montana" book. It lists several good places to find fossils that are legal to take. Remember, you cannot collect vertabrate fossils on Public land. Private land is different, but, good luck getting permission. A really good spot I like to go is by Drummond, the "Rockhounding Montana" book has good directions on how to get there! Good luck, and if you find anything good let us see it!
