This place has turned out to be the best place I've ever been granted permission to hunt, it just keeps on giving up the silver and 3 Walkers to boot!! The weather here has been wet and rainy, finally by Thursday it let up a bit with an off and on misting so I headed over to my spot after work. I left there with the '05o Barber Quarter, the '42 and '44 Mercs, the '43p and '45d War Nickels, a '35 Buffalo and 14 wheats. I went back over for a little while after work on Friday (same kind of weather) and dug the '20 Walker, a 44d Merc, the '46 and '46d Rosies, the '26 Buffalo, the Sioux City Transit token and 9 wheats. When I dug the Walker I was kind of expecting a token as the tone was way off for a Half, thats when I discovered the Buffalo in the same hole. All I can figure is that the nickel changed the tone just enough to make it a weird tone. I went over today and dug the '44d Walker, the '58d, '59d and '63d Rosies, a '36d Buffalo and 15 wheats. The Walker was right next to a can top and again the tone was way off. I also found my first marble over there while recovering a wheat. Thanks for looking and HH

I'd say you are doing very well this year and it's still early. Nice finds! DD.

If you see someone tailing you, it's just me. (Stalking is such a nasty word now.)

Seriously, great silver!

Cripes! Could you get any more silver. Good for you on finding an untouched stretch of land. Here's hoping you find something to put up on the banner as well!
