More dumping questions

so, I've been barred from the only bank i know with a coin hopper. Do you use the bulk "1 week turnaround"send out bags? or do you re-roll everything? There are few half dollars and almost no large dollars in my area, so i do dimes and cents. It makes for a lot of coin to return, and i dont have enough bank-roll yet to keep a constant flow waiting a week for a deposit turnaround. At the same time, i REALLY don't want to re-roll everything. Do a lot of banks in your areas have coin counting machines?

Did you get barred from using the coin machine too much? Or an unrelated issue?

I think I live in a lucky area, tons of machines around, many different banks and branches...

If I had to re-roll halves, I dont think I would do it for long... I doubt I could even find a bank to accept boxes.

they barred everyone with more than oh i guess 100-150$ in change

guess i could just take in small amounts but that seems like more work than its worth, they go through brinks, which i've had bad luck with so i dont buy boxes there anymore.

I guess if it's too much to roll, and you can't use the banks coin counter to dump, you don't have very many other options. this might be a short lived hobby for you.

I re-roll probably half of my boxes.. But I know for a fact that the banks I take them to, unwrap them and put them in bags before they ship them.. Kinda silly, but that is the only way they will give me cash on the spot.. Also, re-rolling doesn't always take as long as people think.. Once you get use to it, you can go pretty fast..

Hey Tlowery, I'm a fellow okie living in the Tulsa area. I have a decent bankroll so I dump most of my coin via bag deposits. However, I have a suggestion. One of the easiest options for okie's are the casinos. Despite not using coin operated machines, most casino's have a coin counter behind the change/cash cage. If you will get a players card, they will process the coin for free.

Nice, good to know, I had thought about going to the casino but hadn't thought about cashing coin in there. I just thought I would spend 7 hours feeding slots haha.

traded in almost 200$ in halves, gold dollars, dimes, and pennies. nobody said anything to me about it, but that teller wasn't there today either.

I do both reroll and use the bags, lately I have been rerolling more though to utilize my cash alittle better, it really isn't that bad, last week I rerolled 20 boxes, this week I'm rerolling 26 boxes, it's doable, but time a little time consuming. ( about 25 min to search and reroll a box), you can make better use of your money that way. HH, Maverick.
