So I hit my recently discovered relic honey hole in search of more goodies. Perhaps some Gold or silver coins. I didn't get a full day hunt in like I'd hoped, but rather, a short awkward hunt of just less than 2 hours. Not to disappoint, the site produced this fine relic.

The gun is fairly heavy given the size and certainly smaller than a real gun. I couldn't guess at the age and have not yet looked for a comparable gun as of yet. But if I was to guess, I'd say 50's or older for sure.

I can't wait to get to this site again. I did notice the weeds starting to grow. So my time may be limited.

Thanks for sharing my excitement.

All these old guns, what do you think they're doing out there?

Probably tossed out by "Mothers Against Toy Guns for Kids" members. But that's fine. More kewl stuff for us to find.

Heavy? Are you sure it is not a real gun? So many styles. Does the cylinder feel heavy or the center of the gun? Kewl finds either way. You could probably post in the "What is it" section for model make and everything else. They are good.

I'm sure it's not real. I can tell by the way it's put together. it's certainly a toy and a much better toy gun than we had in the 60's.

Eww, I don't like snakes. I'd run. I saw a water snake of some kind once in that area. They can get real bad as the temperatures rise. I've been rather lucky in not having problems with them while hunting, but it's bound to happen at some time.

You sure thats a match? Cause the gun they have is 4 inches shorter than yours! I guess its the same style? Cool find man!

I must have missed that fact. The style is identical. I'll have to look further then.
