It sure looks like a “howling wolf” or “ bear bark” effigy pipe from here. I dont know the exact terms for the low bowl edge but Ihave seen that circular pattern in other examples.
Was it found with any other artifacts or in a hunting area you visit lots? Why do you think pendant?

Not thinking pendant on this one.
Obviously a pipe.. you could “burn” one thru it.... the pendant is on another thread.. thanks fat
