This old place has sure coughed up a lot of silver over the last couple of years. I got skunked the last two times I hunted here, so I let it "rest" awhile.
Today I gave it another going over and managed to pull up these four plus a couple of wheats.
1960-d quarter
1956-d dime
1944 dime
1937-s dime

They're pretty beat up, but better than pretty clad!
That's 25 silvers fty so far.

That's a very pretty handful of silver! I like your comment about letting a site "rest" for a while. Given time, lots of things change....weather conditions, ground conditions, and ( most importantly) the skills of the detectorist. I'm always surprised at what I can find when returning to a spot that I have hit multiple times over the years. Congrats!
