Tnrelicman and I went back to the very large camp we have been hunting for a while. Guy found the best find so far in there yet to date. Catch his post later. My finds for the short hunt was three 3 ringers, two horseshoes, a couple small caliber probably post war, some camp lead and small ball. Also found the side of a very large pocket knife. And tons of shotgun hulls. Man the 12th GA has been all over this camp. LOL

Nice Randy!

When you called this morning we were heading in to church. Sorry about that.

That one lead bullet looks like a carved. Is it?

Guy found something good I hear! Nice. That camp has plenty of relics for sure.
Nice hunt buddy.

As dry as it is in Tennessee right now Randy, that's a good hunt. The 3 ringers look like machine grooved examples. I wonder how "pumped up" that 12th GA group was-LOL? If you don't dig that brass, you miss the buttons!! HH, Quindy.

Quindy - you are right on the hulls. You have to dig them because you never know what it may be. The one good thing about finding those shotgun hulls is that you know you are in an area you haven't hunted yet.
