My most valuable find is probably an old Axe head found in Penfield, NY and old barb wire found in my lawn that used to be a farm about a 100 years ago or so. My coolest and most favorite finds are a 1918 D wheat penny and a Coast Guard button that is 30-40 years old which were both found in my lawn. I was surprised to find the penny because my house was built in th 1960's and even then it was still pretty old. It's hard to think that a farmer would loose a penny in the middle of a huge farm that is now a bunch of interconnetcing neighborhoods. Some day I hope to find something really valuable like Jeff's $700 ring. Plus i would love if you guys could give me some adive on were to look for valuable treasure because iv'e only been metal detecting with my Ace 150 for about 10 months. keep up this topic it's coming along great!!!
Thanx, Steve
