We're having a record heat wave today, almost 95 so other than sitting inside where it's cool the creek is the next coolest spot, probably 10 degrees cooler down there 8-) My youngest son said lets go creek walking so we went downstream first and found the one I'm holding and in the pan you will see another piece of it that was laying next to it so my guess is it broke off when it hit the rocks. The underside is real rough and tempered with soapstone and quartz making it Burke Phase in my area.

All in all it was a good day to be in the creek, didn't see any snakes and I like that lol Thanks for the look and happy Mothers Day to all who are in that role!

I know what you mean, mine's not too full but now overgrown in most spots and a major struggle to get in to. I did go out last weekend but only found one shard in an upstream spot.
