I had a little over an hour free this morning, so I headed off to a not hugely frequented harbor beach. First couple swings were full of trash signals and the the tide was rising, so I wasn't thinking my finds would be to great. Low and behold, the second signal I dug was a 1902 Barber quarter, and not in particularly bad shape either! I also pulled some interesting small spike fragments I assume are from old boat hulls as we're pretty nautical out here. A couple of clads later I headed home, but can't wait to get back out there to see if low tide might offer up a couple more olds:) ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452360126.416510.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452360153.945470.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452360165.897381.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452360181.334210.jpg

Nice! The Barber quarter has a lot of nice detail left on it. Way to go!

Very nice, ,
You really got lucky with that Barber Quarter.
It is in great condition. If it had been in Salt water for any amount of time, it would be black and worn from the salt, sand, and pebbles.
Congrats on a nice hunt
