The ace you have is a fine inland machine. You mentioned "wanting to do the beach some more" then you will want something stable for wet sand. Check the auction site for any of the minelab sovereign series. The older models like the xs can be had for good price and some actually prefer them over the new GT.

IMO stability and depth in the wet when it come to the beach will net you some nice jewelry. With one of the sov series you can crank up the sensitivity here with out a bunch of falseing.

The sovs are a bit tough for trashy inland sites. Clean em out with your ace and then double back with the sov and find the deeper coins.
