I went to an area where a old home use to stand. This was probably my 15th time hitting this trusty spot. Heard a faint signal that repeated 90 and showed 6 inches down. Unfortunately for me it was under a old gravel drive in very hard packed Georgia clay. After digging a hole 7 plus inches down through gravel this beauty popped out.....so glad it wasn't a crushed can! Thanks for viewing and HH.

Damn thats beautiful! Your efforts paid off, congrats.

Walkers are nice! Congrats

Sweet Walker! Nice congrats?

that spot sounds just like some of my spots here in arkansas except minus the good stuff, and if it is, you earned that silver. congrats

Excellent silver half dollar. Congratulations to you! Many more to come I hope.

Congrats on an awesome find. GL&HH!

Nice!!! My first silver coin ever was a 39 walker. I use the AT Gold, mine rang 89 solid. Nice one, hope you find more!!

Fantastic walker! Gotta love those faint repeating 90's on the AT Pro. Nice work and congratulations.

Awesome coin .

i know just what you mean about the hard packed Drive Ways mixed with Ga Red Clay ( might as well dig in pavement ,esp this time of year .
Is that your sweat on the At pro? if so it was worth it IMO.

Davers

Awesome half !! While a silver half has eluded me and my ATP so far (heck I havent even scored a silver quarter yet!)...but last week I dug a beauty of a 1922 silver Peace Dollar...I have a PILE of recently found stuff to post, as time has not been very available lately !! All spare time has been delegated to hunting! Im sure you can all relate! lol...And yes, I despise nothing more than scoring a huge signal and TRYING to shove my digger into a hard-packed gravel patch...but it appears your perseverance paid off nicely...great coin !! Thx for sharing...great stuff..ddf

awesome find!! its a crazy feeling seeing something that big come out of the ground!

A '35 Walker was the first silver coin I found and I was stoked. I still get a rush when I find them. One of my favorites. Congrats!

Congrats, those are awesome finds and is on my bucket list....
