2 days ago I found this Silver spoon in my backyard after about 10 mins. of detecting.
It could be anywhere for early 1800 to early 1900 (from what I can tell doing some research)
It was made by Wm Rogers MFG CO. IS(International Silver Co.)
I was pretty shocked to find it on my first dig ever!
Which makes me wonder what else is back there.

Congrats on your silver spoon !! I found a beautiful ornated baby spoon while detecting an older home in town and had the wife a spoon ring made from it. I thought it turned out pretty good.

Thanks for the nice comments. Also, pescadore, that is a great idea and the ring looks awesome. If mine had more details I would do the same!

IS = International Silver-- not a company, but an indication that the spoon is plated and not solid. (I found that out after investing $$ in silverware at a swap meet, only to be disappointed later!)

Not a bad first find though-- keep hunting, and welcome to the forum!
