how to know if a coin is a silver proof? s mark? i got a bunch of clean ones no mark? i suppose some are just really clean and some are proofs because they got the glossy finish

The silver proofs look just like the other silvers on the edge (usually alot cleaner)...1976 and 1992 to present.

The best way to check the proofs is to weigh them. Compare to a clad half and a 40% half.

thats a good assortment of finds the gold ones with the double dates were some kind of special issue. little or no premium.
