got this nugget under a large rock. found some small stuff close by. flipped the rock over and got a screaming signal. not bad for a family outing..... at a very popular area. 2.41 gram nugget. 3 gram total 20171022_121254.jpg 20171022_120831.jpg 20171022_120746.jpg 20171022_120757.jpg 20171022_120804.jpg 20171022_151418.jpg

this was well needed and much deserved, and on the last day of deer season, another depressing deer season

I have until the 30th.. It is crap the way they schedule the seasons in Ca.

On top of that my bow was stolen from my garage winter before last ,I haven't replaced it so two years now no archery start for me.I've seen way less deer overall this year the wet weather seems to have given them more choices for water and browse.

Nice gold!!

unchecked lions and bears, poisioned by the growers(intentional & unintentional), pigs compete for food, and it goes on. i think im going to give b & c zones a break for a while. the deer are hurting bad. but this is a gold forum so thats enough... will keep everyone posted with the next gold finds. come on one ounce nugget!!!! ill settle for a 2 ouncer

Beekbuster - nice nugget('s) from an unexpected place, made a family outing even better. Which machine were you using? No signal till after the rock was moved, how big was the rock??

Goldwasher - super Big heavy antlered Mule Deer live in the area of Sailor Flat, CA at the bottom of the same trail. Getting it out from there is another thing! And there are/were a lot of bears in the area. Just an FYI....................63bkpkr

My trip up north was a jumble of constraints so I never made it out to your store, pooh!

i was using the sdc. the rock you can see in the picture, elongated large watermelon sized. it was washed clean all around the rock so i moved it without a swing. it was a very loud target. i beat this record in a smashing fashion the next weekend, posted as "on cloud 9"
