I got my usual weekly quotient of six boxes. It's been pretty so-so for months, but here is what came out::hello2:

009.JPG 011.JPG
Box 1 - 64,65,66,9x67,10x68,3x69 for a total of 25
Box 2 - 2x65,11x66,31x67,18x68,6x69 for a total of 68
Box 3 - 3x65,6x66,16x67,16x68,7x68 for a total of 48
Box 4 - 2x67
Box 5 - 4x65,7x66,18x67,10x68,6x69 for a total of 45
Box 6 - skunk

So that's a score of 188 keepers, and 28 oz. My January totals have always been unspectacular, but now I'm beginning to believe that I hit on a pre-Christmas shopping dump. My previous best box was 53. I have made a mental note that I'm going to quit the hobby when I ever get a real dream box. 68 will have to do for now.
Happy hunting everyone!

:3coins: Congrats on a nice score. You never know what you're going to find when you open a box. BTY did you weigh the 65s? Some were minted on 90% blanks instead of the 40% blanks & are errors. The 40% coin weighs 11.5 grams & the 90% coin weighs 12.5 grams. Also check the back of the 66s. The error for them is that it would be missing the designers initials (FG).

Finding is certainly more fun than just searching, huh? That's a fantastic batch of boxes. January - March were by far my best months for boxes. 75%+ of my yearly finds from boxes would come from those months.

The odds of finding the '65 error are slim-to-none, but its definitely worth checking. I'm not going to google it for you, but there are several errors you can look for if you want to take the time.

Great week! It would be hard for me to top those totals even if I did THIRTY boxes in a week.
Hope you can get some more,
HH

Gary -
I just checked, and the 65's and 66's are standard. Oh well. Thanks, everyone else, for the good wishes and the likes.
