My Chisolm trail Hunt finds, 2 first for me. Broach pic update

Hi I got back from Kansas last night around 9 or so, I hope all yall will go to the members hunt threads and see the adventure.
I got my first ever Silver dollar (1884 S) at about 8 inches down,It was a exciting find and I dident know how to act when I got it, the Mercury dime (1944 D) was shallow and right behind Watercoloers Van (sorry about that watercoloer). the pendant was my fist find and was a repeating tone but like a pull tab. The Eagle thingy says "Cole" "The Standardized Car" dont know what it is but it rung like another silver dollar at about 6 inches deep.

TC! Absolutely the most beautiful coin there! What a find! And I LOVE that pendant! Taking it to the jeweler? 8) No matter what it is, it's still very pretty! Was great to finally meet you and hope to see you at the next hunt.

Great finds. I see you said that you didn't know how to act when you found the Morgan dollar. I believe the celebration of choice on this forum is the famous double fist pump. However, if that were a colonial coin you would also be elligible for the jovial gibbons dance.

Those silver dollars are hard to come by. I only found one and it was a Chinese Silver Dollar.

The Morgan Silver Dollar to me, is the MOST beautiful of all U.S. Silver Coins. They are sooo Awesome! That is a BEAUTI-FULL find!!!!

I had the very distinct pleasure of being the first one you notified of your Silver Dollar. What an incredible moment. For now, I will have to live vicariously through you and your find. Thanks for sharing the moment and I truly hope we get to swing a coil together again. BTW, how many times did I rub your shoulder for luck? It was almost like you were famous!


Man, your finds were great that day! Love that broach with the yellow stone too. Keep us posted as to what you find out about it. I would love to know.

I never got to see the dollar at the hunt I bet you were about stroked out when you pulled it from the hole). Thats a great coin for sure! Is it you first cartwheel? Sorry we didnt get to spend more time with you, or the others, at the hunt. Maybe next year we can spend more than one day there.

Very nice! Morgans are pretty scarce out there, at least by my numbers. You have to love the hefty feel in your hand when you pluck one of those babies!
